Bridget Pivac, Designer
Hey there, this designer is looking for her next opportunity 👀
My name is Bridget Pivac, I'm a Design Lead based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Dual NZ/SWE citizen. Fluent in English and Swedish.
If you are looking for a self-driven and curious designer then you have come to the right portofolio.
Fifteen years in UX design and research, and I can point at what came out of it. At Zettle by PayPal I led design strategy across five teams and stayed hands-on in three. We shipped tax compliance in time for the US launch, and unified the iOS and Android menus after years of divergence.
I blend hands-on delivery with strategic direction, and I'm comfortable carrying a product from discovery through to its third round of iterations.
Flexibility and communication. Flexibility in my range of skills and tasks: I can build design systems, conduct user research with a variety of methods, or work on a project from discovery phases to multiple iterations. Communication-wise, I confidently run workshops, share design decisions and involve all stakeholders at different stages.
Running the school pilot for EdAider. Two months of intensive feedback loops. In one of the Enköping sessions, I workshopped with three classes and ran a separate session with their teachers. Every single student gave us product feedback, which almost never happens, and it handed the team a clear direction for the next round of iterations.
If you want a number instead: At Zettle by PayPal, 73% of retailers in the UK and Swedish markets added the loyalty feature my team built to their point of sale setup.
You can read more on these successes in my project section.
I design AI products for a living. Right now I'm the senior product designer on EdAider, an educational AI tool.
In my own workflow, my most used AI tool is Claude Code. Building functional personas from a pile of documents. Analysing a stack of user interviews so that every theme is backed by a real quote rather than a hunch. Wiring the Figma MCP with Claude Code to speed up initial concepting. Creating html versions with animations and transitions which can be put in production or sent to developers.
